Balbix
Senior Engineer
After roughly a year at Balbix, I was promoted to Senior Engineer to support a growing team and expanding userbase for the Connectors feature I had been building since I first joined the company. In addition to maintaining the responsibilities of my previous role, I also began to support the new engineers on our team and play a more independent role in design and development.
January 2021 - February 2022
Balbix
Software Engineer
I joined Balbix in January of 2021 as one of the original engineers on the Connectors Team. I worked with two other engineers to design, develop, and maintain a generic framework and its ever-expanding set of "connectors" to allow our customers to ingest data from third-party services such as CrowdStrike and ServiceNow. My work spanned across the stack, from writing the GraphQL and APIs invoked by the frontend, to designing and implementing the actual processes responsible for ingesting this third-party data in the backend.
May 2020 - August 2020
Adibi IP Group
Software Engineering Intern
In the summer of 2020, I worked as a Software Engineering Intern for Adibi IP Group. In this role, I worked with another intern to develop the full stack of a docket management system completely from scratch using Google Apps Script. This docketing system is integrated with G-Suite and provides full contact management, matter/task tracking, and document generation. At the end of the summer, we were also in the process of automating many aspects of the business (such as time tracking and client invoicing) through the application as well.
July 2019 - August 2020
Edge Solutions and Consulting, Inc.
Pre-Sales Consultant for Cloud
The summer after my first internship with Edge, the company reached out to me and offered me a part time position as a Pre-Sales Consultant for Cloud. In this position, I attained technical certifications from various companies such as Google, Nutanix, and NetApp in order to ensure that Edge met their partnership requirements with them. I held this position during two summer internships as well as a year of school, often working 60+ hours per week in the summer.
June 2019 - August 2019
Princess Cruises
Application Development Intern
In the summer of 2019, I worked as an Application Development Intern for Princess Cruises. My two main projects from that summer consisted of creating a Device Management Application in Oracle APEX that was deployed to all of the Shore Excursion Departments throughout the fleet, as well as writing a python program that utilized the TensorFlow library to predict shore excursion purchasing patterns with nearly 90% accuracy.
May 2018 - August 2018
Edge Solutions and Consulting, Inc.
Technical Sales Intern
In the summer of 2018, I worked as a Technical Sales Intern for Edge Solutions and Consulting. In this role, I worked closely with the President and Vice President of the company to learn about the industry, researched over 300 potential business leads for the company, and developed a program in python that allows employees to easily update and reorganize their database of vendors and services.
